Canadian Cutting Horse Association Open & Non-Pro Championships for

REINING HORSE COMPETITION:
Saskatchewan Reining Horse Association presents Open, Non-Pro and Novice

TEAM CATTLE PENNING:
Teams competing in Open and #7 Invitational Penning. Presented by the Canadian
Team Penning Association at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 28 in the Agridome.

INTERNATIONAL HORSE PULL TEAM AND SPONSOR AUCTION:
Bid for the opportunity to sponsor your favourite team as they compete during
the three days of horse pulling competitions.
Auction will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 22 in the Stadium.
INTERNATIONAL HORSE PULLING CHAMPIONSHIPS:
Experience the excitement! Top teams competing in three weight divisions.

TEAM ROPING:
Saskatchewan Team Roping Association #6 and #10 roping, all day in the Agridome

STOCK DOG TRIALS:
The Canadian Western Agribition Stock Dog Championship is featured on
Tuesday and Wednesday, Nov. 26 and 27, in the Stadium, with the Finals at
the Wednesday night Rodeo in the Agridome.
BISON SALE:
The Canadian National Bison Association presents the Fourth National
Sale and Show at Agribition. Sale Friday, Nov. 29 at 2:00 pm in the Stadium.
Judging will take place Thursday, Nov. 28 in the pens, with viewing restricted.
UPJOHN FIRST LADY CLASSIC:
An inter-breed jackpot heifer competition held Friday, Nov. 29 at 10:00
a.m. in the Canada Centre Arena.
INTERNATIONAL 4-H JUDGING SEMINAR:
Delegates from across Canada and the United States display their judging
skills in five species of livestock on Sunday and Monday, Nov. 24 and 25.
Sponsored by John Deere Limited and Hoechst Roussel
Vet.

TRADE SHOW:
Over 600 exhibits showcasing agricultural products, services and the latest
in the agricultural technology. In addition, a blend of consumer exhibits
promoting western food, fashion and lifestyles.
FASHION SHOW:
Western Canada's finest home sewers and cottage industry manufacturers are
featured exclusively at the Fashion Show located in the Grandstand of the
Queensbury Centre.
Show times are Saturday to Thursday, Nov. 23 to 28 at 5:00 p.m.
PARADE OF CHAMPIONS:
A showcase of all the champion purebred beef and dairy cattle, sponsored
by John Deere Limited, held during the Thursday,
Nov. 28 performance of the Agribition Rodeo.
COUNTRY GOSPEL CONCERT:
An interdenominational gospel concert, featuring Jack Jackson and the
Jordan River Band.
Sunday, Nov. 24 at 10:30 am in the Grandstand.
COWBOY POETRY:
Family entertainment.
Monday, Nov. 25 to Thursday, Nov. 27 - Thursday, Nov. 28 at Noon, in the
Grandstand.
AGRI-ED SHOWCASE:
See agriculture presented in an unique and educational way to educate young
and old about the various aspects of agriculture today.

GRAIN AND FORAGE SHOW:
A showcase of quality seed and feed on display in Banner Hall - Queensbury
Centre.
Grain & Forage Show Banquet is held on Monday, Nov. 25 at 6:00 p.m.

INTERNATIONAL RECEPTION:
Held in honour of the international guests attending the Show, this reception

ADVENTURES IN AGRICULTURE
...Is designed to"help broaden youth's knowledge and understanding
of the agricultural sector, and the challenge of providing food to the world."
Organized by the Regina Eastview Rotary Club, this program will see twenty
selected students spending Saturday, Nov. 23 to Wednesday Nov. 27 in Regina,
debating assigned agricultural topics.
LLAMA SHOW
New at Agribition '96 is the Llama Show. Two Classes are featured -
Open Halter and Heavy Wool, for both Males and Females. The Llama Show takes
place Friday, Nov. 29.
ELK SALE
The Saskatchewan Elk Breeders Association presents the Second Annual
S.E.B.A. Sale. 40 quality females will be available for sale on Thursday,
Nov. 28.

place in the world for Canadian agricultural products and services."
SCHOLARSHIP FUND:
Canadian Western Agribition is committed to the education events of the
show, as they provide a liaison between those that know little about agriculture
and those that make a living from this industry. Recognizing that our youth
are the next generation of exhibitors and consumers and to re-enforce its
commitment to youth, Canadian Western Agribition established a scholarship
fund in 1992 to assist the youth of today in furthering their education
for tomorrow.

CASINO REVENUE:
While the casino is one form of entertainment for visitors to the show,
it also plays a vital role in its operation. CWA's portion of the revenue
from casino operations during the show, is allocated for facility and operational
improvements which will maintain and improve the market place atmosphere
for both exhibitors and customers.
